Chapter 6 - The FTPTOOL Defaults (FTPTOOLDFT) Command

The FTPTOOL Defaults Command (FTPTOOLDFT) allows you to set up global values for the FTP operations. If a user is not set up in FTPTOOL the permissions used will be taken from the defaults listed here.

The parameters listed in the FTPTOOLDFT command are described as follows:

  • FTPTOOL Library - This value should contain the library name where the FTPTOOL objects are stored.
  • Connect - Specify the default value for allowing FTP connections. Normally this value should be *YES. If this value is set to *NO, no FTP connections will be allowed.
  • Make Directory - Specify the default value for the Make Directory Command.
  • Remove Directory - Specify the default value for the Remove Directory Command.
  • Change Directory - Specify the default value for the Change Directory Command.
  • List Directory - Specify the default value for the List Directory Command.
  • Delete File - Specify the default value for the Delete file Command.
  • Client Get - Specify the default value for the Client Get Command.
  • Client Put - Specify the default value for the Client Put Command.
  • Rename File - Specify the default value for the Rename File Command.
  • Execute Command - Specify the default value for the Execute Command option.
  • Log Commands - Specify the default value for the loggingn of FTP commands.
