  • Configure output queue trigger - Use this option configure an output queue to be monitored by the output queue monitoring service. This command allows you to start or stop monitoring for a single output queue. This is the same as using the CFGOUTQTRG command.
  • Start output queue monitoring job - Use this option to start the output queue monitoring job. This is the same as using the STROUTQTRG command.
  • End output queue monitoring job - Use this option to end the output queue monitoring job. This will not stop entries from collecting, so if you also want to stop the collection of spooled file entries, you should use option 1 ending monitoring for the appropriate output queue(s). This is the same as using the ENDOUTQTRG command.
  • Work with output queue triggers - Use this option to work with the output queue trigger options that are set up. Using this command you can specify commands that should be run depending on the attributes set up for the spooled files. This is the same as using the WRKOUTQTRG command.
  • Work with output queue monitoring job status - Use this option to view if the output queue monitoring job is active or not. The job name will be OUTQTRG.
  • Work with output queue description - Use this option to view the description of a particular output queue. This is used to view if the output queue is set up to be monitored or not. If the output queue contains the value QGPL/OUTQTRG for the data queue parameter, it is being monitoried by the OUTQTRG application.
