  • Google ID - Enter the Google ID associated with the calenders you wish to list.
  • Calendar ID - Enter the unique calendar ID that you wish to use. The physical file G4GCALPF contains a list of valid calendars. For each available calender a record will be added with a unique ID. This calender ID is stored in the field GGCCALID. This value should be used on this parameter.
  • Event Title - Enter a short title for the event.
  • Start Date - Enter a start date for the event.
  • Start Time - Enter a start time for the event.
  • End Date - Enter an end date for the event.
  • End Time - Enter an end time for the event.
  • Process - Whether or not to process the event and add it to the calendar. Set this to *NO if you are going to be adding attendees using the G4GADDATT command. When you are finished adding attendees, run this command with this value set to *YES. If you will not be adding attendees to the event, simply specify *YES on the first call.
  • Event Key - Enter a value for a identifying key for this event. This field is not required, but it may help with identifying calendar events with other commands.
  • Event Location - Enter a location for the event.
  • Event Description - Enter a description for the event.
  • Reminder Type - Enter the type of reminder you would like for this event. *DFT will use the default reminder type and time that is set up in your Google Calendar. If you wish to override the default you can specify Email, SMS or PopUp for the reminder type.
  • Reminder Time - Specify the time, in minutes, that you would like a reminder. This value is only used if *DFT is not specified for the Reminder Type.
  • Send Notifications - This will be used to specify if you wish to send notifications for the event.
  • CCSID - Enter a CCSID for data translation.
  • Debug - Enter *YES to debug this command.
  • Debug File - Enter the fully qualified path and name of the IFS file to store the debug data. If left blank the default of /tmp/g4g_<id>_addCalendarEventDebug_<title>.txt will be used (where <title> is the event title specified in the command).
