G4SLKUPF

The G4SLKUPF command is used to upload a file to your slack team. You are able to specify a channel, or list of channels all separated by commas, where you would like the file to be shared. If no channels are specified the file will be private.

  • ID - Enter the Slack ID you wish to use to send a message.
  • Team - Enter the team associated with the ID to send a message.
  • File to Upload - Enter the fully qualified path to the file you wish to upload. The content-type will automatically be created using the G4SLKCTTPF file.
  • Channel List - Enter one or more channel IDs, separated by commas, where you would like to share the file you are uploading. If no channels are listed the file will be uploaded as private.
  • CCSID - Enter a CCSID for data translation.
  • Debug - Enter *YES to debug this command.
  • Debug File - Enter the fully qualified path and name of the IFS file to store the debug data. If left blank the default of /tmp/g4slk_<id>_uploadFile.txt. where <id> is the ID associated with the request.
